Colciago fastest in wet warm-up

A heavy rain shower hit Anderstorp shortly before warm-up and the conditions were similar to yesterdays qualifying with some sun in the end drying the track.

Roberto Colciago was fastest in the SEAT, just ahead of Chevrolet’s Rickard Rydell. The Swede was happy with the conditions and hopes for rain in the first race where he will start fifth. Alessandro Zanardi was third fastest in the morning session.

The weather is expected to be unsteady throughout the day with temperatures around 13-15 degrees. The latest reports predicts heavy rain showers for the second race, with mixed conditions for the first race.
