Lexus to enter diesel IS200 this year?

Lexus will enter two diesel-powered cars for the World Touring Car Championship round in England at Brands Hatch later this year according to Italiaracing. The model reported to be used is the IS200d in a preparing effort for a full entry in WTCC next year with the team LGT Engineering.

The information should be considered with care since a lot of rumors have been circulating the last couple of years of an Japanese manufacturer entering WTCC, but with no result yet.
