Priaulx stays with BMW next season

Reigning WTCC champion Andy Priaulx that will run for a third straight title next weekend will continue for BMW next season. BMW UK has confirmed that the Brit will be behind the wheel in the WTCC 2008 with team RBM.
“We are delighted that Priaulx will once again be taking part in next season’s FIA WTCC as a BMW works driver. With his racing successes he has made an indelible mark on the WTCC,” said BMW Motorsport boss Mario Thiessen.

Andy Priaulx is pleased with the decision but is keen to keep his focus on the upcoming WTCC finale.
“The renewal of my partnership with BMW, Crowne Plaza and Team RBM is a timely boost for all the team as we head out to Macau. It’s been a united effort all season where we’ve had to fight harder than ever for every point. There’s no doubt we’re in for another exciting finale and to win a third world crown would just be incredible,” said Priaulx to crash.net.
