Yvan Müller joins Race of Champions

World Touring Car Championship title contender Yvan Müller joins the list of drivers in the 2007 Race of Champions. Müller will represent team France together with Champ Car champion Sebastian Bourdais.
“It’s become an important date in a driver’s season. The RoC has been going for the past 20 years and gets bigger every time. To have places like the Stade de France and Wembley Stadium host it is a huge deal,” said Müller.

For the first time ever the Race of Champions will be held at Wembley in the UK on December the 16th. Müller will compete against touring car colleauges like Tom Kristensen and Mattias Ekström, but also against F1-drivers like Michael Schumacher and David Coulthard.

“Coulthard, Kristensen and Schumacher are all from the same generation as me,” said Müller. “We used to race each other in karts and have all progressed to different areas of motorsport since, so it’s great to find each other on track again.”
