Proteam confirms D’Aste and Hernández

Proteam Motorsport have confirmed their two drivers for the 2008 season. Sergio Hernández will remain in the team and gets new company from champion Stefano D’Aste. The team will continue driving BMW 320si E90.

Stefano D’Aste managed to secure the independents title 2007 thanks to consistent driving. Despite only winning three races, compared to his closest rival Luca Rangoni who won nine races, D’Aste clinched the title with two points.

Hernández finished fourth in the championship, claiming second place as his best position during the season of 2007.
