Team Engstler has it’s first roll out

German driver Franz Engstler will run it’s first full season in the World Touring Car Championship in 2008. The past few weeks the team has been working very hard to build the new BMW E90, with which the team will race the coming season. After finishing the work on the car last week, the team took the car to the German track of Hockenheim to do a first roll out of the car.

The team will enter the World Touring Car Championship under the name Liqui Moly Team Engstler. Teammanager Kurt Treml was proud when the car hit the track for the first time. “We’ve put so much into this car. It was a big challenge to build a BMW E90 for the World Touring Car Championship and now we’ve done it.”

Team owner and driver Franz Engstler was impressed. “I won’t forget about this first roll out”, he said. “Ofcourse we were al very eager to see if everything worked like it should. The whole team did a great job by making it all work.”

The team will now ship the car to Brasil for the first race of the season in Curitiba on the second of March.
