Promotor Sport to join the WTCC

Italian touring car team Promotor Sport have announced that they intend to enter the 2008 WTCC from the first round in Brazil.
The team have taken possession of a single BMW E90 that will race in the first round at Curitiba. It is expected that a second car will join the team in time for the race in Mexico.

This venture has been put together with the help of Turkish team Kosifler Motorsport and will be run by team manager Mark Frisco. No drivers have been connected with the drive as yet.

Promotor Sport will continue to contest the Endurance Touring Car Series which they ran in so successfully in 2007
