First test for N-Technology with Honda

N-Technology have completed their first test with the Honda Accord. The test took place at Valencia in Spain. James Thompson was behind the wheel and was positive.
“The car has a good base. This test was primarily used for the team and I to get to know the car and that went well. We still have plenty of work to do before our racing season starts of course but this was a starting point. It’s a work in progress,” said Thompson.

Last year Thompson drove the Alfa Romeo 156 for N-Technology and finished third in the championship. The Accord is completely different from the 156 according to Thompson.

“This car is a totally different package from the 156. But the challenge is similar in that we have to develop the car quickly to be competitive. That’s something N.Technology are extremely good at though and the Honda package as a starting point is good. We still have work to do but as a first test, things went well. The car has great potential.”

The Swedish Honda-team were also present with drivers Tomas Engström and Thed Björk. The both did not actually drive but took part in the data gathering as preparations for the STCC 2008 where they will drive two Honda Accord’s.
