SEAT launches 2008 program in Spain

Today SEAT Sport officially presented the team for the World Touring Car Championship 2008. The five drivers were present – Jordi Gené, Tiago Monteiro, Yvan Müller, Rickard Rydell and Gabriele Tarquini. Also present was SEAT Sport director Jaime Puig.
“We want to be number in 2009 and therefore we have to win. We came close in 2007, so we know we can do it and that is our goal,” said Puig.

The WTCC season 2008 is only a little more than a week away. The premiere takes place in Brazil at the track Curitiba.

This year all SEAT factory cars will run on diesel.
