SEAT show dominance in test session

Jordi Gené has set the fastest time during todays test session at Puebla, Mexico. The Spanish driver took his SEAT Léon TDI round the track 1:42.603, almost have a second quicker than his team mate Tiago Monteiro. Gabriele Tarquini, also driving a SEAT Léon TDI, took third place.

Alain Menu was the fastest non-diesel powered car in fourth, just ahead of Augusto Farfus Jr. in a BMW 320si. Both were almost a second slower than Gené.

The only SEAT Léon TDI that was not in the top 10 was driven by Yvan Muller. The French ace only set 17th fastest, but only managed to do six laps during the 30 minute session.
