Melvin Choo prepares for WTCC-races

Melvin Choo from Singapore did his first test in the Thunder Asia BMW 320si. Choo will drive this car in the Asian Touring Car Series, but also in the two last rounds of the World Touring Car Championship at Okayama and Macau.
“We hope that we will be fully competitive by the time we make our maiden WTCC appearance, in October at Okayama,” team manager Raja Zaini said.

The team tested for three days at the Sepang circuit’s north course. Choo lapped 1:08.898 which was faster than the previous S2000-lap record set by Franz Engstler.
