Farfus fastest in first practise

During the first practise session of today Augusto Farfus Jr. has set the fastest lap round the Valencia circuit. The Brasilian set a time of 1:42.679, almost two seconds faster than the quickest lap yesterday. The cool air and the cloudy sky made the track a lot faster.

Just like yesterday, the Chevrolet’s were very strong on the Spanish track. Rob Huff set second fastest time, just one tenth down from Farfus. Menu was third fastest, Larini sixth.

During the session there were two yellow flag periods. Andrey Romanov span at turn 7, a couple of minutes after that Ibrihim Okyay stranded in the gravel trap at turn 11. The two Russian Bears Motorsport LADA 110 cars did not take part in the session.
