Müller ahead of Farfus in second practice
Jörg Müller and Augusto Farfus Jr. held the flag high for BMW during the second practice session at Pau in France. Müller was fastest with the time 1:35.426 while his team mate managed to set 1:35.651. Tom Coronel made a strong run and was third fastest with his semi-privateer SEAT Léon.
James Thompson was fourth, just as in the first session, with Rickard Rydell in fifth, who was fastest in the first session.
Rain played a big role in the session as it had stopped befor the start of the session. But not long in to the session it started to fall again heavily which caused a number of incidents.
Yvan Muller and Alain Menu had incidents in the second corner. Both escaped unharmed, but things went worse for reigning champion Andy Priaulx.
With four minutes left of the session the Brit clipped the inside barrier at turn 13. There was a lot of damage in the rear and the front side of the car and the session was brought to a halt.
