Chevrolet dominates Brno test sessions

Chervolet dominated the first official test session at Brno. Alain Menu was fastest in the morning session with 2:09.942 while his team mate Robert Huff was fastest in the afternoon with the time 2:09.648. The times were almost two seconds faster compared to last year due to the new surface of the track.

Gabriele Tarquini (2:10.016) was third fastest ahead of Alessandro Zanardi (2:10.244). Nicola Larini (2:10.016) was fifth with Félix Porteiro (2:10.244) and James Thompson (2:10.276) right behind them.

The sessions were red flagged five times with the last one caused by Yvan Muller’s SEAT-engine giving up.
