New BMW-driver for Oschersleben

The World Touring Car Championship race at Oschersleben will get a new entry in form of the 25-year old George Tanev. The Bulgarian drives a BMW 320si for the team Petrol GT Racing and he is the first ever Bulgarian in the WTCC. Tanev competes in the Bulgarian Touring Car Championship and he currently heads the points.

The BMW 320si that Tanev will drive at Oschersleben is the previous test car of BMW Team Italy Spain. Tanev drove the car for the first time last week in Adria with help from BMW Team Italy Spain.

The plan for the team is to drive the races at Imola and Monza later this year.
