Farfus fastest again in practise two

The second timed practise session was a prey for Augusto Farfus. Just like in the first session he set the fastest lap. This time, it was Robert Huff who was the closest man to him. Huff was almost three tenths slower than the Brazilian BMW driver.

Tom Coronel, driving for the SEAT Sunred team, set the third fastest time. Best privateer was Coronel’s team mate Marin Colak in fifth, who makes his debute in the WTCC this weekend.

Another surprise in the top of the field was WTCC returnee Duncan Huisman, who set the sixth fastest time.

Farfus, fastest man so far, is happy to be at the German track. “Oschersleben is a good track for the BMW, but Seat and Chevrolet should also be strong! We tested here in May so I am quite confident. It’s a bit of a home race for me too, because it is fantastic to be a member of the German Schnitzer team. The team is like a big family and I would like to race for Schnitzer next year again. The times with Alfa were also fantastic and I learned a lot there! But I think that Schnitzer is the best team in the WTCC.”
