Race in Moscow becoming reality soon?

The plans for a World Touring Car Championship race in Moscow, Russia, has been around for a while. But now it seems that the plans are getting closer to realization. On September 7/8th a representative delegation from the WTCC will visit Moscow according to a press statement.

A press conference will be held on the Red Square in Moscow where organisers and team representatives will be available together with drivers Alain Menu, Rickard Rydell, James Thompson, Jaap van Lagen and Victor Shapovalov.

The exact plans regarding an eventual WTCC race in Moscow are expected to be released during this event.
