James Thompson gets new Mugen-engine

Renowned Honda engine tuner Mugen will take over the engine development for the N-Technology/JAS Motorsport Honda Accord’s in the World Touring Car Championship. The race engines will be supplied to the team through the 100% owned M-Tech UK subsidary Mugen Euro Co., Ltd.

JAS Motorsport has previously co-operated with Mugen during the development of the Group-N rally specification Honda Civic Type-R.

The Mugen engines will be in James Thompson’s Honda Accord for the first time during the Japanese WTCC-event at Okayama International Circuit, followed by the WTCC finale at Macau.
