Rydell penalised in Monza race one

The stewards at the World Touring Car Championship event at Monza decided to strip Rickard Rydell of the third place in the first race of the weekend. The Swede was given a 30 second penalty because of his incident of the last lap with Nicola Larini.

Rydell got a small hit from behind from Larini. This caused Rydell to instead go straight in the first cicane.

Because of the incident Rydell dropped to 17th in the results.
