Norbert Michelisz joins SUNRED SEAT

Norbert Michelisz is the last driver coming from the SEAT Eurocup to join WTCC. The 24-year old Michelisz won the series’ first race in Monza and will drive a SUNRED SEAT León Tfsi in the WTCC meeting at Okayama, Japan. Michelisz is the sixth SEAT Eurocup driver to win a WTCC appearance.

The previous are: Oscar Nogués, Tom Boardman, Lourenço Beirão da Veiga, Martin Čolak and Duarte Félix da Costa.

He is also the first Hungarian to join the FIA World Touring Car Championship. During his still brief racing career he has claimed two national titles in the Suzuki Swift and Renault Clio trophies.

He is currently placed second in the Hungarian SEAT León Cup.
