First test for new Chevrolet at Estoril

Chevrolet will introduce the new Cruze-model in the FIA World Touring Car Championship next year. Even though there still is one race left of this season, the team is just about to start testing the new model.
“The car is ready, we have completed a shakedown of the car in England and in Spain,” said Chevrolet Motorsport Boss Eric Neve to Motorsport-Total.com.

Next week the team will test the new car in Portugal on the Estoril-track. The new car will be run together with the current model, the Lacetti.

“We will run two days at Estoril. We will do back-to-back tests with the Lacetti to get a better picture of what development work we have to focus on with the Cruze,” said Neve.
