Augusto Farfus fastest again at Macau

Augusto Farfus remains fastest at Macau in the second practice session. The Brazilian beat his team mate Jörg Müller with only 0.044 seconds. Tom Coronel caused a red flag of the session when he crashed hard in the Mandarin bend. Moments after that incident independents front runner Franz Engstler spun at Moorish Hill.

Alain Menu, in the Chevrolet Lacetti’s last race, was third fastest, 0.202 seconds behind the BMW-duo. James Thompson keeps his strong pace in the N-Technology prepared Honda Accord and was fourth fastest, only 0.074 seconds behind Menu.

Nicola Larini headed the best SEAT-driver and title runner Yvan Muller in fifth and sixth respectively. Robert Huff, who is gunning for second in the championship, was seventh fastest after the, only for one race more, reigning champion Andy Priaulx.

Alessandro Zanardi and Tiago Monteiro rounded out top ten, that was covered within one second.
