N-Technology out of WTCC?

The unfortunate crashes of James Thompson and Andre Couto in the final races of the FIA World Touring Car Championship 2008 could have been the exit of N-Technology in the championship. According to SportMotores.es the team is on the way out of WTCC, with two new teams wanting to buy the cars and equipment. The teams are reported to be the Spanish team Campos Racing and a Japanese team.

N-Technology has ever since Alfa Romeo left them been trying to get Honda to join them officially. Their most recent seasons have been without official support from the Japanese Manufacturer.

But if the team will leave the WTCC for 2009 and if Campos Racing and/or the Japanese team will take over the cars is still too early to say. Stay tuned for more news!
