No Hondas for Campos Racing in 2009

There will be no Honda Accord in the 2009 FIA World Touring Car Championship. N-Technology closed their doors in January and information suggested that Campos Racing would take over the cars. But those plans have been scrapped and the two Honda Accord’s in the possession of N-Technology are up for sale.

What Campos Racing will do instead is uncertain, but reports suggest that the team is still looking at options to get involved in the WTCC.

The two Honda Accord’s are for sale at 180.000 € each. The package includes serviced engines and gearboxes with 0 km running, spare parts, WTCC 2008 data and setup sheets. Visit ntechnology.it for more information.

At the moment it looks like all major touring car series could be without Honda Accord’s.

WTCC will see none and both Honda-teams of the Swedish Touring Car Championship and Danish Touring Car Championships are facing difficult economical times.
