Jörg Müller tops warm up session
BMW driver Jörg Müller has finished the final warm up session ahead of todays first race on top of the time tables. The German lapped the track in a time of 1:24.848. That is only one tenth slower then he did in yesterdays qualifying. Second in the warm up was Müller’s team mate Augusto Farfus Jr. Andy Priaulx completed the all BMW top three.
Pole man Yvan Muller was the first SEAT in the final time table. The Frenchman finished the session in fourth, ahead of his team mate Tiago Monteiro.
Independent driver Félix Porteiro set an impressive sixth time during the warm up session. The Spaniard will start this afternoons first race from 12th on the grid.
For the first time this weekend Rob Huff was the fastest Chevrolet driver, but still he was only down in 11th place. His team mates, Alain Menu and Nicola Larini, finished in 13th and 16th respectively.
Best Lada driver was again Dutchman Jaap van Lagen. He was 21st, 1.8s behind the fastest man. His team mate Kyrill Ladygin was right behind him in 22nd, but over half a second slower than the Dutchman.
