Tarquini gets a 30 second penalty
Gabriele Tarquini has been given a 30 second penalty due to his incident with Jörg Müller in the second race. The two drivers came together on the sixth lap at the exit of the North banking. The both were fighting for second place. The penalty drops Tarquini to 19th position in the second race.
Tarquini was also given a ten grid position drop for the next race.
Although that penalty is suspended for the next three races, meaning that it will only apply if he gets involved in a similar accident again.
The decision is not final yet though as SEAT have appealed against the decision.
