Chevrolet get flat floor & plastic windows

The FIA Touring Car Bureau has granted a technical waiver for the Chevrolet Cruze in the FIA World Touring Car Championship. The Chevrolet has been authorized to use a new front bumper fitted with a flat bottom and to use front and rear door windows with plastic elements.

The decision is effective starting from the coming WTCC race at Marrakech this weekend.

The decision has been taken to enable the Cruze cars of Alain Menu, Nicola Larini and Rob Huff to get closer to the other cars of the field.
