Maximum ballast for Chevrolet at Pau

The Chevrolets are going to be carrying maximum ballast weight during the next World Touring Car Championship race at Pau in France after their success in Marrakech. The Chevrolet’s of Alain Menu, Nicola Larini and Robert Huff have got 40 kilos of ballast.

The ballast weights have been determined by the lap times during the last three races, Brazil, Mexico and Africa.

The SEAT León TDI emerged as the reference model, one tenths of a second faster than the BMW 320si.

All the other cars – LADA 110, SEAT León TFSI and Alessandro Zanardi’s BMW 320si (the only one equipped with a sequential gearbox) – will have 20kg deducted from their minimum weight.
