Postiglione and Tanev forced to miss Pau

As TouringCarTimes reported in an recent interview, Vito Postiglione is going to skip the French event of the World Touring Car Championship at Pau due to the damage suffered during the Marrakech weekend.

Postiglione’s teammate George Tanev will also have to miss the event for the same reason, leaving Félix Porteiro as the only Proteam driver on the grid at Pau.

As Postiglione stated in our interview, the trucks from Marrakech arrived in Arezzo, where Proteam are based, on Thursday night after the African event.

That meant there was not enough time to fix any of the two cars.

The two Proteam drivers are going to rejoin the World Touring Car Championship at Valencia, at the end of this month, by which time the have had enough time to repair both cars.
