Priaulx fastest in second test session

During the second test session today at Pau it was Andy Priaulx that set the fastest lap. The BMW driver finished the session ahead of his team mates Jörg Müller, who was fastest in the first test, and Augusto Farfus. The fastest SEAT driver was in fourth place, although it wasn’t a factory driver, but Tom Coronel in his petrol poweder SEAT Léon TFSI.

The factory SEAT’s were not inside the top ten at the end of the session. Fastest diesel driver was Rickard Rydell in 14th, ahead of Yvan Muller in 15th.

Again Alain Menu was the fastest of the Chevrolet drivers in fifth. This time his teammates were closer to him. Nicola Larini finished in seventh, Rob Huff was tenth.

A good time from Jaap van Lagen saw the Lada team finish the session in 13th. He was just over 1.5s slower than Andy Priaulx.

Alessandro Zanardi and Stefano D’Aste didn’t get on to the track during the second test due to the damage they sustained in the first session.
