Felix Porteiro excluded from race one

Spanish driver Felix Porteiro has been excluded from race one. The independent driver was punished for his contact with Tom Coronel.

Coronel was leading the race, but in the last lap Porteiro hit the Dutchman in the rear, forcing him out wide in the hairpin.

Porteiro and Engstler went through, leaving Coronel outside the points and third in the independents class.

Earlier in the race Porteiro also had pushed Morrocan driver Bennani into a spin.

Now Porteiro has been excluded Franz Engstler moves up to sixth and takes the win in the independents class. Tom Coronel is promoted to eight and takes the final point.
