The 2010 WTCC calendar is released

The calendar for the FIA World Touring Car Championship 2010 has been released. The calendar features twelve tracks in twelve different countries. New for next year are Zolder and Algarve. Imola, Porto and Pau have been removed.

There is still one event that is yet to be confirmed, the one on the 30th of May.

(updated) The TBA has been confirmed to be an Italian track. The track is expected to be revealed either Imola or Misano.

The date for the Spanish round, at Valencia, remains but has been moved from May to September. Though on the list, it is marked as being “subject to the agreement of the ASN concerned.”

During the World Motor Sport Council, where the calendar was presented, it was also confirmed that Yokohama is going to continue as sole tyre supplier until 2012.
