BMW and SEAT on max penalty weight

The SEAT Léon Tdi and BMW 320si are going to carry maximum penalty weight for the coming World Touring Car Championship race at Brands Hatch. The SEAT’s and BMW’s had the fastest average lap times during the race at Porto which gives the extra penalty weight.

The third fastest car at Porto was the Chevrolet Cruze with a gap of 0.7 seconds and it is going to be 30 kilos lighter compared to the BMW’s and SEAT’s.

The petrol SEAT and the Lada 110 is going to have -20 kilos on its minimum weight.

The calculated average lap times are calculated on the three previous events – Valencia, Brno and Porto.
