Menu: “I consider Brands as my home”

Alain Menu is heading to the FIA World Touring Car Championship round at Brands Hatch this weekend, a track that he likes especially much.
“I love Brands so much that I consider it as home … and it is always good to be back home,” said Menu.

Menu has a strong record at Brands Hatch, he has won a race every time he has visited the track since 2006.

“I love the circuit and I love the atmosphere. I have won there every year since 2006 and I hope to keep the trend and to get rid of the bad luck I had in the last three events,” said Menu.

The Chevrolet Cruze that Menu is driving is for the race at Brands 30 kilos lighter compared to the BMW’s and SEAT’s.

“Honestly, even if the competition is very strong, I think the Cruze should be competitive in Brands, given also the weight compensation table for this event,” said Menu.
