Augusto Farfus wins ahead of Jörg Müller

Augusto Farfus won the second race at Brands Hatch after leading the race from start to finish. The Brazilian crossed the line ahead of team mate Jörg Müller. Gabriele Tarquini took third after being let past by his team mate Rickard Rydell.

While Farfus and Müller had a calm race, things were much more hectic for third.

Tiago Monteiro held third initially but was passed by Rydell. Tarquini followed the Swede a few laps later, as did Andy Priaulx.

Andy Priaulx had a frustrating race behind the SEAT cars. The Brit had a very hard fight with Tarquini for the majority of the race.

The BMW was unable to get past Tarquini, who in the end was let past up in to third by Rydell.

Priaulx had to settle for fifth, just ahead of Rob Huff, who got really close to Priaulx in the end as the BMW man was held up by Tarquini.

Yvan Muller made a nice drive through the field after starting on the back of the grid and finished seventh behind Huff.

Monteiro, Sergio Hernández and Tom Boardman rounded off top ten.
