Four drivers penalized after qualifying

Jörg Müller, Robert Dahlgren, Jordi Gené and Kristian Poulsen have got their grid positions removed for the first race. Müller got a five second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, meaning that he is going to start eight.

Robert Dahlgren had all his times removed because his team started to work on the car during the parc fermé between Q1 and Q2.

Jordi Gené, who was going to start 16th, also had all of his times removed, due to and engine speed sensor that was disconnected.

Poulsen has been given ten positions on the grid due to an engine change.
