Menu and Reid to race in Bueno Aires

This weekend sees the most popular event on the Argentinean Touring Car calendar take place, the Buenos Aires 200km race. A couple of international stars will be joining in this weekend, the biggest name is two time BTCC champion and current Chevrolet WTCC driver Alain Menu.

Menu has competed regularly in this event since 2004, taking overall victory in 2006. Menu will be hoping to challenge for victory again in the Chevrolet Astra.

However, former BTCC star Anthony Reid will also be taking part, and is driving for the Equipe Petrobras team in a Honda Civic – which is the strongest car so far this season, holding the top three positions in the championship going into this event.

Reid will be sharing with former F1 test driver and GP2 regular Jose Maria Lopez in a Honda Civic – who is also the reigning champion of the series. Lopez is also in contention for the title this year, currently only 16 points behind his team mate Juan Manuel Silva.
