Toyota wins 1st Buenos Aires race

Norberto Fontana & Ricardo Mauricio have taken the first win for Toyota Team Argentina in the Buenos Aires 200km race, beating last years winners Jose Maria Lopez and Anthony Reid.

Fontana had secured pole position for the event, and had to fight alone as TTA’s second car, piloted by Mariano Werner & Carlos Okulovich retired after three laps.

Lopez and Reid ran strongly, and finished in second place in the Equipe Petrobras Honda Civic – which puts reigning champion Lopez just one point behind team mate Juan Manuel Silva in the standings heading to the next round at Neuquén.
