Rydell: “BMW are stronger at Oschersleben”

Rickard Rydell is heading to Germany to complete yet another round with SEAT in the World Touring Car Championship. The Swede knows that he is facing tough opposition from BMW at Oschersleben.
“Even if the BMWs normally are stronger at Oschersleben we hope to challenge them for podiums,” said Rydell.

In preparation for the race at Oschersleben after the long summer break, the SEAT team has done extra tests at Magny Cours.

“It’s been a long break so the test at Magny-Cours last week was really important. We prepared ourselves specially for the next two races at Oschersleben and Imola,” said Rydell.

Rydell is fourth in the championship, 26 points behind leader and team mate Yvan Muller.

“I’m 26 points behind the leader and having had to let teammates pass me in the last races I now focus on SEAT winning the Manufacturers’ championship,” said Rydell.
