López/Reid take pole position at San Luis

José Maria Lopez and Anthony Reid have claimed pole position ahead of Renault’s Mattias Rossi & Thiago Camilo, and team mate Leonel Pernía

Juan Manual Silva, statisically the only other driver able to stop López from claiming his second consecutive title, will start eighth.

Alain Menu & Guillermo Ortelli missed the top 10 shoot out, and so will start 11th in their Chevrolet Elaion.

López has a 30 point lead in the championship, and looks set to wrap up his second title in just his second season of the TC2000.
