SEAT decision expected next week

SEAT are going to reveal their plans for the World Touring Car Championship 2010 programme next week according to Spanish website Sportmotores. The Spanish manufacturer is expected to announce a seriously downscaled programme.

While the number of factory supported SEAT’s are very likely to be reduced, the privateer SEAT’s are expected to grow in numbers.

According to information to TouringCarTimes.com three top independent drivers are looking to acquire diesel SEAT Léon’s for the coming season.

Tom Coronel and two other currently active WTCC independents have been named as drivers that could be behind the wheel of the diesel powered Léon in the independent’s category.
