Mehdi Bennani signs for Wiechers Sport

26 year old Moroccan Mehdi Bennani has signed for Wiechers Sport ahead of the World Touring Car Championship 2010.
“I am very excited about the season and I am convinced that all the ingredients for success are there,” said Bennani.

Bennani made his debut in the WTCC last year as the championship made its first appearance in Morocco.

Bennani’s manager and president of the Marrakech race Aly Hormah is understandably delighted.

“We are delighted that Mehdi is going to drive the entire season for Wiechers Sport. We firmly believe that he is going to be on the podium frequently this year,” said Hormah.
