Ledesma and Ortelli to Chevrolet

Christian Ledesma will rejoin Guillermo Ortelli at the Chevrolet Elaion squad, running in the Vectra this year in TC2000. The 2004 champion will also hit the 100 race milestone shortly into the season.

This will be Chevrolet’s second season with the Vectra in Argentina’s premier touring car championship.

After a winless season in 2009, with the Vectra being run for the first time, replacing the ageing Astra – Chevrolet will be hoping for a return to form in TC2000. Honda, Renault & Toyota have been the ones to beat in recent years.

“Yes, I’ve been associated with Chevrolet for many years now, it’s like we’re a family. I believe that together with Guillermo Ortelli, we will be competitive.”

Team mate Ortelli will pass the 200 race mark as well this year; his first race in the championship being for Ford back in 1994.
