Manufacturers test at Valencia

The cars may well be on a boat to South America, but BMW, Chevrolet & SEAT have been at Valencia testing this week with Muller, Menu, Huff, Tarquini, Coronel, Nykjaer, Gené, Monteiro & Farfus testing with reserve cars.

Chevrolet also previewed their new modified livery for Alain Menu’s Cruze at the Spanish track.

The Chevrolet team had two test cars at the circuit, with drivers Robert Huff and Alain Menu, as well as new signing Yvan Muller trying out the two cars in rotation to help get themselves ready for the new season.

Menu took part in both days, with the Chevrolet Cruze sporting a new livery with the swiss cross now a feature of the cars colour scheme.

Augusto Farfus was also testing at the circuit for RBM, and posted a picture of the test car (in BMW Team UK colours) on his Twitter feed.

The newly announced SR-Sport SEAT team were also at the circuit, with the former works drivers Gené, Tarquini & Monteiro getting reacquinted with the TDI, whilst Tom Coronel & Michael Nykjaer got their first taste of the two-time championship winning car.
