BMW ahead in Saturday first practice

BMW have maintained their performance for the first Saturday session, but the field has closed up since the Friday test session.

Farfus led the way from Andy Priaulx by just 0.012 of a second, with Huff’s Chevrolet Cruze two-tenths behind, and Norbert Michelisz a very strong fifth, and top of the SEAT’s just over three-tenths down.

Bamboo Engineering’s Harry Vaulkhard caused a red flag stoppage just at the end of the session however at the end of a hot lap, and the session wasn’t resumed.
