Alain Menu test at wet Pembrey
Chevrolet man Alain Menu has completed two days of testing at the British track Pembrey.
“We only had a couple of hours of dry track, but it was a very useful test anyway, as we revisited some of the set-ups for wet conditions and worked on things like the differential and the bars,” said Menu.
The team worked hard on the wet setup of the Chevrolet Cruze in the humid weather.
“We started the sessions with the set-up used by Rob and Yvan in race 1 in Curitiba and that was very useful for me to understand why they were so quick in the wet in Brazil,” said Menu.
While Menu was hoping for more dry-time on the track, the Swiss was pleased with the test.
“I think we now have a lot of data for wet conditions. It was maybe not what we were looking for when we arrived to Pembrey but it is something that will definitely be useful during the season, especially in Okayama!” said Menu.
