Norbert Michelisz tops first test in Morocco
SEAT-driver Norbert Michelisz topped the first free test session as the World Touring Car Championship resumes at Marrakech in Morocco. Second
fastest was SEAT colleague Tom Coronel, just nine hundredths of a second behind.
Chevrolet driver Rob Huff claimed third fastest time, 0.158 behind, ahead of BMW driver Augusto Farfus.
JOrdi Gene was fifth fastest ahead of former team mate Yvan Muller in sixth and current team mate Gabriele Tarquini in seventh.
Alain Menu, Andy Priaulx and newcomer Fredy Barth rounded out top ten.
The session was red-flagged once as Ismaïl Sbaï put his Maurer Motorsport Chevrolet Lacetti in to the wall. And the team had a though practice session as their second driver Youssaf El Marnissi stopped with technical problems and the third driver Larbi Tadlaoui did not get out from the pits at all.
