Yokohama sponsors the WTCC race at Monza

The official tyre supplier of the FIA World Touring Car Championship, Yokohama, sponsors the race at Monza this weekend.
“We have developed a strong partnership with YOKOHAMA and are delighted that it is continuing to strengthen its alignment with the series through its support of the Italian rounds,” said Marcello Lotti, General Manager of KSO.

Yokohama celebrates their launch of their new road-going C-drive2 eco tyre.

“We’re delighted to be supporting the Italian rounds of the WTCC,” said Yokohama’s European Motorsports Manager, Farid Al-Samarrai.

“YOKOHAMA has proudly been the official tyre supplier to the WTCC since 2006 and strives to continue the development of our products for both on and off the race track. Not only has this year seen the launch of our C.drive2 eco tyre for the road, but also our new eco racing tyre, which is currently being used by the WTCC teams.”
