Vincent Radermecker tested in Sweden

Vincent Radermecker tested for Chevrolet Team Sweden at the Swedish track Gelleråsen yesterday as a preparation for the FIA World Touring Car Championship race at Zolder.
“That I got the opportunity to test the Cruze with the Swedish Chevrolet team was very much valuable for me ahead of the coming weekend,” said Radermecker.

Radermecker drove the Chevrolet Cruze that Viktor Hallrup normally drives in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. Team boss Nicklas Karlsson was impressed with the pace of Radermecker.

“His times around Gelleråsen was impressive as he never seen the track before or driven the car before,” said Karlsson.

Radermecker is going to drive the Chevrolet Team Sweden car during the WTCC race at Zolder this weekend, although not maintained by the Swedish team, but by RML.

“The test day went along very nicely and we got to test everything we had planned to do. I feel prepared for the weekend as I now know both the car and the track,” said Radermecker.
