Farfus ahead of Muller in first Zolder practice

Augusto Farfus topped the first free practice ahead of championship leader Yvan Muller. Multiple WTCC champion Andy Priaulx made it two BMW’s in the top three, 0.215 seconds slower than his team mate.

Leading independent Darryl O’Young showed strong form by being fourth fastest in his older Chevrolet Lacetti, just four tenths slower than Farfus.

Tom Coronel was fifth fastest ahead of the two Chevrolet’s of Rob Huff and Alain Menu.

Two SEAT’s followed in eight and ninth with Jordi Gené and Gabriele Tarquini. Local hero Vincent Radermecker rounded off top ten in his first ever WTCC race weekend with the Chevrolet Cruze.
